Australian Wool Innovation has appointed Jane Littlejohn as general manager, research.

Dr Littlejohn, who will replace Paul Swan, previously held the role of general manager, on-farm research at AWI.

AWI chief executive Stuart McCullough said Dr Littlejohn was well- known to woolgrowers.

“She has a strong and proven track record in managing this portfolio and delivering on-farm results for the woolgrowers we serve,” he said.

Dr Littlejohn has returned to AWI after spending the past year managing the National Wild Dog Action Plan.

Mr McCullough also thanked Dr Swan for 16 years of service to AWI.

“Paul is leaving the role but not the industry,” he said.

“He is looking to change gears in life and we look forward to his expertise continuing to help drive the industry forward in other ways.

“He has been a highly valued member of this company for a long time and I wish him all the very best for the future.”
